With Independence Day right around the corner,Ā smallerĀ groups may be having fireworks displays to celebrate. Even private citizens sometimes set up their own displays. A serious personal injury caused by fireworks can happen at any time. The attorneys atĀ The LoRicco Law FirmĀ urge you to follow Connecticut laws and regulations.

Fireworks in Connecticut areĀ illegalĀ with the exception of sparklers and fountains. Sparklers and fountains are non-explosive, non-aerial devices that contain less than 100 grams and 200 grams of pyrotechnic mixture, respectively.Ā  They both can legally be used by those who are age 16 years and older.

If sparklers and fountains are part of your Independence Day celebration, please make sure you are following these safety tips fromĀ FireworkSafety.org.

The attorneys atĀ The LoRicco Law Firm wish you and your family a safe Independence Day celebration!
