Tesla Recalls Nearly 500,000 Vehicles Over Auto Accident Concerns

The largest electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer in the United States has issued a recall of nearly 500,000 of it’s cars which were manufactured between 2017-2020 according to the company. The recall is in response to a danger that the vehicles may experience higher then usual incidents of auto accidents. While no accidents have been reported to date, the company has issued the recall over concerns that accidents may occur in the future. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reported that the issues are relating to the company’s Model 3 and Model S vehicles. The issue with the Model 3 relates to the rearview camera and trunk and the issue concerning the Model S has to do with the front hood.
