When the clock struck midnight this morning, January 1, 17 new laws went into effect in the State of Connecticut. Below are some highlights:
- Employers will no longer be allowed to ask job applicants about their salary history.
- Health insurance policy will be required to carry health benefits for women, children, and teens.
- Prosthetic devices will have some insurance coverage.
- Establishment of Healthy Homes Fund to aid those with crumbling foundations.
