There are many times where it is important to discuss the dangers of getting into a New Haven auto accident and understanding the circumstances surrounding these accidents, but today we’re talking good news.  In fact, this is the type of news that makes state officials stand up and cheer.  In a recent study conducted by the website QuoteWizard the state of Connecticut was found to have the best drivers, literally, in the entire country.

The study was conducted to find out which states had the best and worst drivers based on a number of different factors including; citations, DUIs, speeding tickets and accidents.  The results came in and when the dust settled drivers in the state of Connecticut were the clear winner by a large majority.  So, first and foremost, kudos to you, the Connecticut driver for taking safety seriously and making sure you follow the rules of the road.

The website ranked each state and found that Connecticut was by far the winner in almost all of the categories.  In this case, the higher the number, the better your rank.  Here were Connecticut’s ranks;

1.) 50th (out of 50) in citations

2.) 50th in DUIs

3.) 49th in speeding tickets

4.) 45th in accidents

Connecticut wasn’t the only New England state to rank in the top 10 of the survey.  New Hampshire and Vermont also made the top ten list.  The top 10 was as follows;

1.) Connecticut

2.) Michigan

3.) West Virginia

4,) Deleware

5.) Arkansas

6.) Kentucky

7.) New Hampshire

8.) Maine

9.) Louisiana

10.) Vermont

This is good news for all of the states that ranked in the top 10, but what about those who were at the bottom of the list where drivers who are living dangerously are causing more accidents, among other dangerous behaviors.  Drivers in the state of Utah were the worst drivers statistically according to the report.

As a state our drivers have done very well and it’s great news to hear, especially around this time of year when New Haven auto accidents from things like driving under the influence are much more likely then they are during other times of the year.  Keep up the good work Connecticut drivers!
