The Top Cars Most Likely To Get Into A New Haven Auto Accident

A recent study by the website Insurify found that there are certain auto brands that are more likely to be involved in an at-fault accident then others.  While the likelihood that you are going to get into a New Haven auto accident is largely dependent on your behavior behind the wheel and how you drive, the study found that it may also be associated with the brand of car you drive.

The following car brands were found to be involved in the most at-fault accidents:

• Subaru
• Volkswagon
• Hyundai
• Mazda
• RAM

Interestingly and maybe surprisingly the car brand with the fewest at-fault accidents was found to be Porsche which only registered 8.62 at-fault accidents per 100 drivers.  This is well under the national average which stands at 11 out of 100 U.S. drivers who have an at-fault accident on their driving record.

The numbers may be a little deceiving as just under half (43%) of all accidents in the United States involve more then one vehicle and not all accidents can have a definitive answer as to who was “at-fault.”  In the data that is available the vehicles listed above were definitively at-fault in the accidents that they were involved in.

Whether you drive one of the brands listed above, a Porsche, or any other brand name auto you need to follow the rules of the road and drive safely to avoid a New Haven auto accident.  If you do that, you will be much less likely to be one of the statistics that is reported here.
