Motorcycle Accident Fatalities Dropped 5% In 2018

The most recent data that has been reported by the United States National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) is that motorcycle fatalities dropped by 5% in 2018, the most recent year of data available. While this is a promising sign, the number of New Haven motorcycle accidents continues to be higher then the share of motorcycle drivers currently on the road. This is a troubling statistic. The NHTSA reports that in 2018 the number of motorcycle accidents on the roads of the U.S. represented a staggering number at just under 5,000 accidents per year.
