New Haven Auto Accident Highlights Dangers Of Driving Late At Night

At 1:30 in the morning a Woodbridge police officer heard tires squealing and a crash that he couldn’t ignore.  He raced to the scene of the New Haven auto accident and did what law enforcement does, worked to protect the injured in the vehicle.  The driver, a Bridgeport man, was pulled out of the car before being rushed to Yale-New Haven hospital.  The officer, who pulled the driver out of the vehicle before the car caught on fire, was hailed as a hero.
