There is a recall that has been issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Chrysler for nearly 63,000 Jeep Wranglers from 2021-2023.  The vehicles have an issue with the hybrid electric engine that has been known to shutdown while the vehicle is being operated which can lead to a serious situation which could initiate a New Haven auto accident. December is National Drunk and Drugged Driving Prevention Month and so there is no better time then now to take stock in how we are doing with prevention of this type of behavior.  Unfortunately, the answer is, not very good.  Drunk driving is one of the biggest factors in many New Haven auto accidents and the truth is that throughout the United States in 2021 it was a factor in many incidents as well.
