Longer drives to work can mean less sleep for for commuters and sleep deprived individuals are at an increased risk of causing a New Haven auto accident. Drivers who sleep less than four hours are 11.5 times more likely to get in a car crash. It decreases with the more sleep a driver gets. Those who get six to seven hours of sleep are 1.3 times the risk.
