A new report published shows that Interstate 95 in Connecticut was named one of the nation’s most dangerous sections of roadway.

Data from the National Traffic Safety Administration, the research shows this is the 19th most dangerous stretch of highway in the country. There were 147 crashes with 164 of them resulting in fatalities. I-95 in Connecticut averages 15 fatal crashes per year. Researchers attributed this to the highway having more frequent exits than average interstate highways.
