Swedish automobile manufacturer Volvo is recalling 500,000 units of its vehicles worldwide. The recall was issued because a faulty engine part could cause the vehicle to catch fire in extreme cases. The recall affects two-liter and four-cylinder diesel engines manufactured between 2014 and 2019 in the following models: S60, S80, S90, V40, V60, V70, V90, XC60 and XC90.

If your vehicle was part of the recall, follow the instructions sent to you by Volvo. If you are unsure if your vehicle was part of the recall, the following might help.

  1. Get your vehicle inspected immediately.
